Good day Guys and Girls

I am moving from windows to Linux ( new to the Linux vers here) and i want one of my .msc executable files to run on Linux.
I have tried to run it on wine but failed miserably.

Is what i am trying to do impossible to do without running a Vm with windows on or is there a way i can run it on Linux?

Thanks in advance :) :)

just trying to see if it is possible. If not then i will have to resort to the VM

Just for laughs, what .msc file do you want to run?

its a vender specific .msc file that we run. But looks like i will be running it on a VM environment

Msc files interface to the microsoft management console. They are more like excell files than executables. Linux does not have a microsoft managment console...

Depending on what the file actually does, it might not even do what you want it to do in a vm...

Some years ago, I tried installing Microsoft Management Console in WINE, but was unsuccessful.

If you can provide a link to a recent installer for it, I can try installing it again.
