MTN 1TB deals

Hi

I just want to find out if you can use data share or link multiple sims to use the data on the 75GB deal for R299.

5.28. Data Share is not allowed on the MTN Home Wi-Fi price plans and MTN Fixed LTE Booster Bundles.

just confirmed month to month have buy router.
If this is the case then it means that you need to add on an additional R100 per month to cover the cost of the unnecessary router i.e. 75+75GB for R399, 110+110GB for R499 and 200+200GB for R799 which make the deals a lot less attractive.

Many thanks for the feedback and for saving me the trouble of visiting an MTN store. I was also thinking about moving across to one of these packages but I am reconsidering now if I need to purchase a new router.

so wait.. if i want month to month i have to buy a router from them to qualify ??

i have a B525 and pretty keen on the month to month 110gig deal

yeah you need to have a qualifying router

the sim need to stay in the router and if the sim is removed it takes about 7days to reactivate on a new router

Any clue if the B525 is a qualifying router...?
sim will never leave the router lol..

It appears that you are forced to take a router together with the data bundle but let us know if you are able to get this deal without the router.

A little update..... @I.am.Sam @RedViking @netstrider

So i have contacted MTN corp who i am currently with.. on monday i did this..
At first they had no idea which package i was talking about, But after a few days they "found" the package.. (Yea.. dont ask me how that works)

So i chose the R399 110gig + 110gig Fixed LTE package... month to month sim deal
Got an SMS late last night saying it has been approved etc.. Courier company will be in touch with me etc etc..

Soooo lets see how it goes then?
