MTN Black Friday Billing Issues.

Has anyone experience a steep increase in the billing for Black Friday deals and hit a brick wall trying to resolve.

My contract was due for upgrade but the new Black Friday deals were not released as yet. MTN websites advises they will notify you when the promotional deal is ending. However this was not fulfilled by their side as no notification was recieved. This is a data sim so messages are sent to router. Upon logging in I recieved an sms with the next month billing so I contacted the call centre whose consultant advised migrating to a zero rated package until the specials were released. I was assured there would be no increase in billing and in fact a zero bill would apply as that was my major concern. Come month end and the amount billed was 5 times the usual amount. After 10 attempts and numerous references being closed I am still unable to find someone who will actually understand the issue and try to rectify. I was wondering if anyone experiencing the same issue and can any advice be given.

References are closed with out feedback. Consultants promise to respond or reply but nothing Is forthcoming. Ths is highly disappointing from an otherwise good company.
