Snap I thought it was possible to do online. Deal was taken through my partner what 3 questions do they ask since I am one able to make call.

Good luck your partner will have to phone, they are going to confirm all your details ask for your MTN pin, id number, and do a credit check, part of the credit check, is ask questions whether or not you have had various accounts, married, going to check old phone numbers and addresses with you had ect, even previous employers :).

If they find out it isn't you they will block you right there and you won't be able to do the upgrade over the phone and will have to go into a store to do it.So if your partner is nearby what your are allowed to do is speak to the consultant tell him/her you are handing over the phone to the owner of the contract to confirm the various details do the credit check ect, once done you will hand the phone back to you to do a deal.

Don't phone on his behalf you will likely get owned and cause more hassle.

Or be told sorry, sold out...
Wait what?! Nah consultant told me earlier it's valid for the whole weekend at R299 for everyone, only the R199 one was limited to 100 users. But she also said they don't work on the weekend so that's a problem lol.

Did any of you guys who have taken the R299 40gig deal receive any confirmation sms?
I upgraded 2 this morning at 10am still no confirmation messages.Calling them now to make sure it's captured properly, don't want issues later.

So far 10 min into the sound of trumpets

"Para pah ra para para...ppprrprprprpa parapah......."..annoying as anything.

135 is a free number right?

It's free, so is the MTN direct number. Wanted to say no, was worried you might drop the call and have to start all over again......:D Wait, what no it's not a free call it's charged at R2.5 a minute *wink*wink* Only reason why I didn't we share a surname and you might be a distant relative :p

I also upgraded (40gb day + 40gb night + 650min + 100SMS)- got a reference number, but apparently the system is down.

Was told I will get SMS and email within 48h confirming upgrade.
