Guys just a heads up for the following deal for R299, you need to call 808 and ask for the retentions dept. They the only department that can offer it to you. I called this morning and went through to upgrades (mtn direct), they couldn't offer me this deal saying that it was a mistake and has been taken off the system. Even went to a store and they didn't have a clue about this deal.

BTW mate you need to let know if you get it sorted, as I am still waiting for mine, was hoping to get it sorted before BF but looks like I am screwed until the chaos quiet downs.... :(

Got an email and sms saying that it's been escalated and that it should be rectified in 2-24 hrs. We will see.

So I have just discovered that my second sim which I upgraded to MyChoice 30GB (30+30 day // 30 night) is still on MtnChoice Talk+ S. NO wonder it has not received its data benefits.

Store consultant is avoiding me. Going to need to tighten the screws on Monday to get this fixed - signed contract says MTNChoice 30GB Black Friday R299pm so I am covered

To think I went back 4hrs after I upgraded to request contract copies. LUCKY!

Did you first have to tell them you want to cancel, or did you directly ask for that deal?

Oi ! Mind your own business :D Had to escalate a call as they haven't loaded my night express data correctly, eppix support won't fix the problem unless they have proof of contract and promo, so had the hassle of getting the contract and having to forward that. :D

Seems like everybody has been quoted on different minutes.

Usual mtn obfuscation. I’m trying to pull the trigger on this now. Being passed from pillar to post. Upgrades puts me through to retention’s and retention’s puts me back to upgrades then upgrades puts me through to retention’s. And so on and so forth... 45 minutes so far. Thank fck this is only once every 2 years.

That's what customer care said was happening with mine and that they have escalated it now and it should be sorted in 2-24 hrs. I had to get a copy of my contract like wizardofid.

Ok so I am one of the people who had a bf 2016 contract. Can anyone tell me how to upgrade to the 40gb anytime + 40gb night time bundle for R299?
