Could you ask if the previous deals data was shareable?
I did, only the inclusive data is shareable. So on the made for me package only the 1GB is shareable.

The deals on Friday were changed and most aren't available today :(

Ended up going with the 60GB + 60GB deal for R299, he says the day/inclusive 60GB is shareable even after I asked him to confirm which contradicts what he said above because it's a choice 30GB package with extra data :/

Currently on the line with them, R299 deal with 40GB + 40GB is pulled.

Offering me the 40GB + 1GB made for me contract which sucks.

He's checking for another offer and put me on hold again.

So that's the deal that started off at R199, then R299 and then eventually R349? Or is that one still available?
 
Give it a few hours. Then switch the dead sim handset off for a while then on.
Mine are working

I just checked the mtn portal and the service still shows active.

I also noticed I have a discount on my number, could be from the 2016 contract though

All those that upgraded thru retentions on friday for the R299 package. Did you receive ur data and minutes as yet?
 
Yes, it's available but it's now just an extra 40GB instead of 40 + 40.

Same price of R349.

I should've upgraded on Friday :(

And this is still only through retentions, right?

Is the business deals available for anybody? Or in particular, the 2016 Black Friday deals?
Edit: Nevermind, saw the reply earlier about requiring business registration details.

Nope. Not even a SMS confirming anything.

Same here, just the base contract data and minutes. I called them and the lady I spoke to said the base contract and promo are added separately so there might be a few days delay on the promo
 
Yes, received my data on the same day I upgraded and received promo data yesterday

I called 135 and spoke to a consultant and they said that nothing was captured on the system on friday, I was than put thru to retentions using my ref no. My upgrade wasnt captured, so now I have2 w8 for the consultant that assisted me on friday to call me back
 
My secondary SIM got deactivated the very instant my contract got upgraded
I'm at the mtn store right now.. Apparently my upgrade couldn't be processed with the dual call active.. They had to deactivate it in order to upgrade.. I'm on the business package.

What's the contract on this? MadeForMe? Or MyChoice?

Did you get an sms on Friday saying your upgrade was approved?
 
So just got off the phone with retentions and I was told I would receive feedback by tomorrow
 
So phoned normal upgrade department, told them I was a BF2016 customer.

They went back into the "customised deal" mode and offered me the three deals they previously gave me.

I asked if I could take out the R149 = 20GB per month deal, but after consulting with her manager said the deal isn't available to me.

She did say I should phone retentions and ask for their deals.

Edit: 25 minutes in the retentions queue -- so far

Just upgraded. Asked the same to the consultant. He said that you have three option with regards to minutes:
1) load a monthly minutes bundle
2) load prepaid airtime and use that
3) call/sms as you like, and the usage will be billed at the billing cycle (up to your credit limit)
