Just confirm you have the dual call sim
Option where somebody phones and it rings on both sims ? Just so that I can get the same thing :p

My second sim is in a modem currently. I won't know if that sim gets the call. But as far as I know, both won't ring as the same time. The primary sim will ring first and if not answered it will divert to the secondary
 
I hope I don't have to wait 2 weeks for the activation :( just to confirm though, you applied for dual call after cyber Monday? Just to rule out that after cyber Monday they didn't disallow dual sims on this deal

My dual call is still not activated. Still says sim not provisioned. Anyone else that applied recently, please update as soon as it's activated.

Went back to the MTN shop today and there was some issue but the guy that helped seemed to think he could sort it out, just need to wait up to 48hrs. The Call centre had said I needed to go in to a store and request a USD manual activation for the existing dual call application, store guy seemed to know what to do.

I'm also still waiting for activation of my dual SIM since Sunday.

So am I. When I phoned activations, they said the sim is activated but pending. Hope this is sorted out as quickly as possible
 
So when does Mtn top up their contracts? On the 14th of the month?
 
My billing cycle is on the 14th. I've received my full inclusive minutes/Sms/data but no promo bundle loaded.

Will see if it's loaded later on. Please let me know if you've received the 10 000 minutes and 50GB data.
 
Used most of the remaining data last night. Glad to see 50GB data loaded this morning :)
 
you can call the activations department on 0831239622 - I did, was activated within the hour.
the 50GB/pro-rata data did not load initially, I checked this morning, all good :-)
 
New data (and minutes) for the month loaded. Interestingly doesn't reflect on the MTN app yet, only the web portal.

I got my new mins, and promo mins and data but still no SMS informing me that it was loaded.

Don't shoot me for asking, I tried to keep up with the thread but that proved difficult. With last months pro Rata data, did anyone actually use enough of it to see if it was throttled or any other limitations? I used 2Gb and mine was good all the way.
