Which is exactly why everybody is getting the deal. If this is true I will be returning their SIM.

Agent said there is a 10 day cooling down period should you have a change of heart after receiving the SIM. Return it to a MTN store and get the contract canceled.

Over the phone they asked for 3 month statement, I.D and payslip. Emailed it to them.

They didn't request mine but they said if it is needed they would contact me.

They said it can be used in a modem so using it in a router or any device that shares the data via wi-fi should be fine. Definitely hasn't been any only on device useage disclaimers that normally bar any tethering etc.

i have requested the Terms & Conditions from various people at MTN, i am yet to receive it.
But all all verbally confirmed that the simcard can be used in a router.

If this is not the case, MTN better be prepared for huge queues to terminate the contracts once people receive the deal.

For what its worth, I submitted a contact request from the online mtn store. Few minutes later a consultant phoned who helped me to sign up
