How do you spot a franchise store in the wild?
Anyone know which store in Durban would be able to activate my cyber Monday dual call?
I think it's fallen away for now.Does anybody have a link to deals in which you get 50gb added? Or has that promotion fallen away competely?
That sucks. Meh, hopefully they'll do an April fools things.I think it's fallen away for now.
I suggest you test a prepaid mtn sim where you stay, travelling to work and where you work as well. I didn't do the same as I went for the first deal (black Friday) and not too happy with the signal. That sucks. Meh, hopefully they'll do an April fools things.
Unfortunately, choice isn't really my ally right now. Telkom line is down and I have no idea how long it will take to fix; it's been 3 weeks already with no end in sight.I suggest you test a prepaid mtn sim where you stay, travelling to work and where you work as well. Think they are likely to have a similar deal down the line.
Get an MTN and maybe use Afrihost? They have some good data deals last I checked.Unfortunately, choice isn't really my ally right now. Telkom line is down and I have no idea how long it will take to fix; it's been 3 weeks already with no end in sight.
On the mobile front, I'm on Fnb connect. Signal is abysmal, top ups are horrendously expensive!
I had mtn before, and they say they have LTE here, so nowhere to go but up, to be honest.
Same thing happened with our telkom line was done for about 3 months but we moved to telkom lte.Unfortunately, choice isn't really my ally right now. Telkom line is down and I have no idea how long it will take to fix; it's been 3 weeks already with no end in sight.

Was lucky to have the unlimited specials available (certain surburbs) with a 50gb fup for some protocols (I assume p2p).3 months is way too long haha. Which Telkom lte package did you take?
I did apply for it, but I've become slightly averse to anything Telkom related, so not holding my breath. Was lucky to have the unlimited specials available (certain surburbs) with a 50gb fup for some protocols (I assume p2p).
Came with a router and antenna. Check out the telkom part of the forum. It's a big thread.
It's not bad, it has usual slow speeds between 17:00-00:00 as most uncapped adsl has but haven't experienced "down time" since Feb/March last year.I did apply for it, but I've become slightly averse to anything Telkom related, so not holding my breath.
I will check it out though, thanks for the help.

When you say "slow", how slow are we talking? It's not bad, it has usual slow speeds between 17:00-00:00 as most uncapped adsl has but haven't experienced "down time" since Feb/March last year.

Loading pages are fine, I think pings get abit higher so there's a delay in the page starting to load. Eish we spamming the wrong thread lol they'll be a lot of people who can better answer you on that thread. When you say "slow", how slow are we talking?
That's not too bad, I don't need hectic speeds, just reliability.Loading pages are fine, I think pings get abit higher so there's a delay in the page starting to load. Eish we spamming the wrong thread lol they'll be a lot of people who can better answer you on that thread.![]()
