We... Are you at MTN?I doubt it too, from what i understand, this package offering placed significant pressure on the network without the standard ROI, so we would be reluctant to open that can of worms again...

Same here. Hopefully by then, there would be some other great deals available. The 500GB (night data) from Telkom is a good deal.so i dont have capped or uncapped at home, i only have the MTN deal.
Im so scared that after nov next year i wont have that data to play with
20gb wont be enough lol
If you plan on porting your number over make sure you have converted your Vodacom number to prepaid before Black Friday arrives.I'm due for an upgrade on vodacom but holding out for black Friday. I figure SOMEONE must have a deal on the day. Might not be as crazy as this one was, but there should be something for us

I'm in the same predicament, except I have 2 contracts and 100gb, gonna hurt when this all comes to an end.Same here. Hopefully by then, there would be some other great deals available. The 500GB (night data) from Telkom is a good deal.
vodacom has a ok deal i think its 30gb data for R300
but 50gb for 150 and get free mins with it, no one can ever compare
Where did you see this Vodacom deal?
I doubt it would be 30gb anytime data.
I've been trying to port an existing number into this contract but can't seem to find anyone at MTN who thinks it is doable. I know some of you on this thread have successfully done this. Please could you let me know how and what you did.
IIRC some people in this thread managed to port into an existing contractYou can only port when you open the contract, you might have another chance next month to get the deal and port.
My brother in law managed to but he almost gave up, you have to virtually breathe fire for 2 whole weeks and somehow get hold of the Mtn ceo for it to be done.IIRC some people in this thread managed to port into an existing contract
any chance you could ask your bil to let me know how he managed it?My brother in law managed to but he almost gave up, you have to virtually breathe fire for 2 whole weeks and somehow get hold of the Mtn ceo for it to be done.
I wonder why it is so hard, is it just policy that's fixed in stone preventing it or is there a technical challenge that makes it difficultto do?
Ive asked him before exactly the process but all he said is he just gave them hell until he wore them down. I have heard similar experiences on this thread, you just have to carry on until it gets escalated to someone senior enough to authorise it. You probably have to be skilled at navigating bs as well and never take no for an answer.any chance you could ask your bil to let me know how he managed it?
If it beats the 2016 deal then you know the end of the world is coming and they have insider information..https://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showth...t-in-the-next-30-days?p=20616518#post20616518
Some sort of deal is coming!
