I would be very surprised. MTN were hit with a massive 5 billion dollar fine last year by the Nigerian government then we got lucky right after as they tried to grab as many new clients as possible. Don't ever expect anything like last year's deal imo.

Yep R150 also included like 10000 free min for mtn to mtn etc.

Last year's deal was crazy good - so glad I grabbed one.

Having said that, I don't think one should measure this year's deal against last year's one but rather against what is in the market now. My guess is that R299 for 50GB per month (assuming that is indeed the deal) is still a whole lot better than anything else available currently.

And 200 any network minutes, 200 sms and a base of 1gb of data + the 50gb. Only the most hardcore cellphone user will ever use more than that, it's amazing, life changing
