Apparently you can port an eligible number to the contract at any time, store and call center both confirmed that.I wanted to keep my prepaid number but they said this special is only for upgrades and new contracts. Is this correct?
The number you phoned to confirm?People be careful, the consultant who captured my contract application didn't request supporting documents which she should have, luckily I phoned and inquired about the status of my application this afternoon and discovered the docs where outstanding. Sent them through now.
After 3 days they close the application if the supporting docs are not received.
Nope not yet. The consultant did say that even though I am keeping my number they still have to send a new sim which I will have to activate but I continue using the current sim. Haven't even received a confirmation SMS or email yetAnyone who used their prepaid sims, did you receive the bonus yet? Still didn't receive it.
so spoke to the guy here again. no dice. sux but even for the 50gb for than acceptable. just sux.
not sure if its because i went from contract to prepaid and now wanting to go back to contract.
Unless the credit check was unsuccessful.
:wtf: the contract is waiting for activation. im just trying to establish why i couldn't keep my prepaid number.
I've phoned today and applications that were done from myself and someone else I helped were non existent or cancelled, but that was not the case. Would anyone who applied for new contracts on Friday or Monday confirm if there applications are still valid?
Thanks.I applied on Friday, wasn't processed yet, phoned yesterday to change to correct package (incorrect one captured initially) and it was still valid. Lady told me because the application was captured on those dates it was valid.
Received mine now. *141# doesn't show the minutes though. You have to dial *141*1# and select voice. Mine says 3.24. I don't know if that means 3 days :crylaugh:
What date every month does MTN load data and minutes?
Chill, if it was for 24 months then it wouldn't be a pro-rata number of GB's but the full 50
