Applied Monday, approved 6 hours later, notified via email and sms, since then nada.
Same here.

Edit: as I was already a contract holder with mtn I got a 2nd sms saying my payment details were updated.
 
Have you sent ID, 3 months bank statements, proof of residence, all in pdf format?

The provisional acceptance is that your credit rating passed. If you have submitted docs then phone and make sure they have been received, if I hadn't phoned I wouldn't have known I had to submit documents, lady didn't say I need to, some people don't have to. I could have missed the boat, 3 days with no docs received and they cancel the application.

I'd still phone and check, this is a once off deal if they screw it up and dont submit it for vetting in time they can't recapture the application.

Getting the contract was very advantageous for me so I hounded them, I was approved hours after all my docs were submitted.

Do you you have the reference number for your application?
Phone the call center and use that, or it seems they can also pick it up via your ID number.

I did mine in store, and I did pass the credit rating. Got the SMS saying my application has been submitted for review and that was it. I will call them tomorrow
 
I'm stuck with a consultant who doesn't get back to me to finish my application. Phoned numerous times yesterday - was told there are documents outstanding but the standard response is that the consultant will get back to me

I also struggle to get through. Two days ago they phoned and they said it is with the deliver company but nothing yet, not even a call. Do anyone know what the delivery companies name is?
 
ok am i the only one wondering why no one shows a full 50GB's of data on their balances?

I ordered 2 sims on friday and a third on monday. The first two was delivered yesterday. Balance check this morning :
Sim 1 : 350MB with upgrade promotion of 35GB
Sim 2 : 350MB only with no promotion.


will have to call them about sim2, but looking at most of the feedback here - we are in for a bit of a mess. MTN wasn't ready for this huge take-up.

No, its calculated pro-rata and the cycle starts on the 14th of each month, not the 1st
 
Quick question: is it possible to set a spend limit on MTN contracts?
 
The 200 all network minutes will roll over and add up to a max of 6 months right? Since its not part of the promo?
