MTN Black Friday Discussions

Am i reading the fine print of the Sky contract at R499 correct, after months 6-7 they will bump the price back to the normal R999?

These offers are terrible! For example, how many people want to spend R499/month even if it does include unlimited calls and 15GB data?

how do I get in contact with the retentions crew? Keen on swapping my 2019BF contract for this sky deal.

Now that i read it again, i could be wrong!

Cause i'm upgrading in Jan 2020 and need a new contract with loads of minutes and this would be sweet!
I won't be able to swap my number i want to keep, but i can always get a dual sim phone like the note 10 and pop in the Sky sim and downgrade the old contract to 1GB data sim.

Go in store sadly. They'll tell you it's possible, but you can't upgrade for 6 months i believe? Or something of the sort.
err, I meant 2018 BF deal. the one thats expiring now, so I should be fine ito no upgrade for 6mths?

I'm using a dual sim setup vodacom pay-as-you-go for voice and mtn 2018 BF for data. I get this sky deal and I can keep the PAYG sim to keep my number and then use the mtn when I'm making calls

Whats the FUP on these Sky Lite contracts?? I've heard they limit you to 120min a day.
For me that's not going to work. At work i have 1-2 hour call sessions

the FUP on mtn website doesnt mention anything about 120min - it is a pretty old doc though so mayhave been changed.

guys, here is the 1st issue we face now.......
consultant tells me that the email sent to BF 2018 Business Contracts is/was a pre reg for retentions. Expired yesterday.
