Would they not want 30 days from that date though? Also about the giving notice thing. I called retentions a month before and was told I need to cancel the day the contract ends.

No I think I've spoken to three people in retentions now. The best I have got is the day of, to cancel/move to prepaid and a month notice if are porting your number. That's what I thought and why I called a month early. I'm starting to get the feeling that when you call it's like a lottery depending who you get. I've had some very helpful people and then some that don't have a clue.
No one has actually been debited these amounts.
How do you turn off the bundles, I cannot find this option on my app?Same thing they told me. I need to upgrade or cancel by the 27th (last day of contract).
I have also switched off the bundles in the my mtn app to prevent another high invoice.
This is mtn way of getting back money from us for all these years of cheap but excellent service![]()
"My mtn" app and not "mtn" app. Under Subscriptions you should find those bundles. How do you turn off the bundles, I cannot find this option on my app?
Is this an issue that MyBroadband should maybe report on?
That are you currently on?What a balls up. So I've just had a 2 hour phone call with MTN where I got offered a 300GB + 300GB for R499 contract which I said yes upgrade me. Failed the credit check because of the R4970 that's outstanding which is bullshit.
