Are you sure that 40gb wasn't from the previous month? I only had 1gb available on datashare and that was data from the previous contract.

I disagree, I currently have 30gb plus 500 on net mins plus 150 all net mins plus 3000sms's per month R799 incl a Galaxy S9
My other 2 contracts:
1) 20gb plus 200 on net mins plus 50 all net mins plus 1000sms's R299 pm with a Y7 prime
2) 10GB data R148 pm Cheapo Samsung phone

Current deals are either Data heavy, or Airtime heavy, and once you add a phone, they become crazy expensive.
There is one contract - 200 plus 200 anytime mins, 40gb plus 1,5gb and 200 SMS's incl Note 10 Lite For R819. Kinda close to my current contract.
I cant find any of their deals that could replace above 1&2 in a similar price bracket.
 
My father in law upgraded his contract in store and took out 2 new contracts. The consultant initially said no its for upgrades only but managed to convince the sales person. Didn't know that was possible. Anyway not giving further details since the guy might get in trouble.

It was 200 SMS per month.

It would have been nice to keep the R259 package which was great. But hey, I already went with the 15GB, 550min, and 50sms for R149.

I agree that the lack of balanced deals is kinda disappointing.
 
My 500GB contract was approved, 226GB loaded pro-rata.
In terms of the datashare's do you need to re-add them or do anything or will they automatically start using the new contract data once the old bundles run out?
 
Did any of you guys who took a new contract( not upgrading) manage to get these deals

R199 - 80gb anytime data of which 40gb is shareable and 80gb night owl data Product Code: 2020991 CT 00014 BF

R299 - 150gb anytime data of which 75gb is shareable, 150gb night owl of which 75gb is shareable Product Code: 2020991 CT 00015 BF

500 + 500 @R499pm for 36 months.... product code 2020991 CT 00024 BF

Or are these deals only available to those people upgrading?

Do you know what package it is? Is it a made for me? Or is it a business contract?
did you get it through retentions?
