Hi when you go to mtn app, and go to datashare section, does it say "you are sharing 400gb with # beneficiaries"?
Coz I also came from a 60+60 and the only thing sharing in the datashare page is the leftovers from my 60+60 package, not the 400gb bundle

I have the exact same issue, I'm curious if they've fixed it for the new sign ups, maybe I can call and get it fixed for me
 
I don't have to upgrade today, do I? My 2018 upgrade was done a few days before BF 2018 and I have received a SMS that I am now on month to month. Still deciding as I have WISP uncapped at home, and it looks like they are rolling out Vuma Reach in the suburbs nearby, maybe we may get it soon too.

So I only need data on the go and have not made up my mind.

Hope to check with them on Monday.
 
I got the 15.5GB, 550 min deal but structured a bit differently:

R149 - 15.5GB Anytime Data, 550 Min, 500MB Night Data, 50 SMS's * 36.. Product Code: 2020991CT00506DG
Deal Structure:
MTN Made for Me XS
15.5 GB Anytime Data p/m
500MB Night Data p/m
550 Any Network Min p/m
50 SMS's
@ R149pm x 36 (or R199pm x 24)

This is the structure that the agent claimed the package has. The product code is also a bit strange.
I am not sure if I believe her, but I recorded the call so hopefully I can get it that way.
 
I was just wondering, I have another contract that I can upgrade in January could I upgrade it now?

1. Renewed my 2016 / 2018 BF data SIM. Was 60GB + 60GB @ R299, now 100GB anytime with datashare @ R299pm. I did request the 150GB + 150GB but the agent disputed its validity even with the product code provided in some of the posts. Given that my contract ends *today* I wasn’t taking any chances.

2. Busy porting in 2 new lines for the 550 minutes / 15GB data / 50 SMS @ R149pm.

On the Telkom lines are they offering you the deals?

were u successful? im also trying to port 2 lines to the deals. no one can do it for me. if you managed to do it. who helped you? and which deal did they give you? also if you have their details it would help(i know im asking for much)
 
Got off the line with retentions now, did these:
Mychoice400 @ R499
Mtn extra small @ R149
Mtn Skylight @ R499

I need a number moved from prepaid to contract preferably to Mtn Skylight or Mtn extra small at these monthly subs... I'm told not possible... anybody had luck?

I’m on Telkom prepaid, porting to MTN contract for the 550 minutes. Telkom is a non event for BF deals.

That’s often the problem - no-one is on the same level *especially* on Black Friday. I’ll confirm once I’ve gone to the next step.
