MTN Black Friday Discussions

I go through MTN Business and have been offered 2 deals:

330GB (150GB+180GB[Promo]) + 110GB Night Express @ R279pm x 24

450GB (250GB + 200GB[Promo]) + 110GB Night Express @ R329pm x24

I think I will go for the 450GB, of which 150GB is shareable.

For MTN Business contract only?

I was offered only this @ Retentions for my Business line:

25GB + 4GB YouTube + 220mins ALL NET @ R349 24 months

18GB + 4GB YouTube + 50 + 50mins @ R299 x 24 months

Yes, that is all there is @ Retentions. Unbelievable!

I might settle for the 15GB + 500mins ALL NET @ R149 x 36months

Is the last the option available for new clients?

I was on prepaid but have other numbers on contract for business.

They told me it's a 50/50 chance of it getting past vetting as the number was not on contract and therefore retentions deal won't apply.

Told the consultant to try it anyway as I have nothing to lose.

Got approved and took 3 more, which also got approved

500 all net minutes / 500 sms's / 15GB data - R149

Thanks. Can you take it up as a normal client? Which number did you call?

For MTN Business contract only?

I am happy with 450GB @ R349

last year i was trying to get onto the 500GB @ R499, but couldn't as i was not a client at the time.

Is there any carry-over of unused minutes and data on this package?

At this point, it seems safer to go prepaid.
R129 for 600 minutes and just data share from another data sim

Does anybody know if the prepaid "Black Friday Double Your Data" data bundles (18Nov - 2 Dec) can be shared?

Is this for a business line? Cause the retentions department knows nothing about any deals that is not the couple of "Black Friday" Data deals on their website
