If you're ok with moving out of the BF cycle, I moved my 500gb package to:

Mobile Internet Diamond
200gb (Anytime) + 200gb (Anytime promo)
R399 / 18 months.

200gb can be shared as confirmed by the sales lady.

While trying to cancel an additional (3rd) data contract they offered me on my 2nd line (SWAMBO's phone) a nice little upgrade deal. 11gb anytime data 125min all net 24 x months for R104 per month. 2023054 CT 45351 DG That I can live with. Not an insane black Friday deal but much better than...

im done with mtn we definitely screwed next BF ...6months before BF

so im moving to fibre and taking smaller data contracts

as it is MTN has been poor during loadshedding so its best i move now

Damnit, missed that... :crying:
The consultant was so pleasant to deal with that I let my guard down and didn't think to ask to opt out of anything - even though nothing was said about the marketing spam.
 
Is there any way to get through to retentions on a direct number. Its so frustrating to listen to the noise and the voice prompts.

They called me back from 083 135 0000 but unfortunately no, that's a call-center and you need to have a reference number to get back to the rep that works with your deal.
 
Has anyone with a business account received any good deals?

I've got about 6 contracts due for renewal and the consultant that emailed me is offering me crap, I currently have the following

2 LINES: 50GB + 200min @R529pm 40GB + 200min @ R429 2 LINES: 50GB DATA ONLY @ R220 1 LINE: 100GB DATA ONLY @ R329 1 LINE: 10GB + 250MINS R279

He's currently presenting contract options ranging from R879 to R1149. The lowest proposal is R399, suggesting a switch from the 50GB lines to a 150GB plan, which isn't something I need.

If anyone has similar packages, please share your deal codes.. It has to be on a BUSINESS account, so business deal codes please.

Our fibre guys cant even dig a trench. With a slight drizzle there is an outage.

And you can’t get through to them if you already upgraded.
There is an issue with my upgrade, seems like a bundle is missing

Yeah, thats same package that was offered to me. Couldn't justify the cost vs Voda's 900GB (500 day 400 night) package which is the same price over 36months.

Told them I would think about it and am expecting a call this week but honestly doubt I will stay with them. Seems like Vodacom wins this round.

This is the only tempting one which would primarily be a backup for those Voda off days. I see @X-Gamer says no code was provided but did anyone manage to get this?
 
Slight side topic. Is there a portal you can log into to see mtn contract balances? Mtn active/my contract apparently only for enterprise

Sorted out - Sharleen (emailed in a previous post) helped me out with the 17gb + 525min x 36months for R160pm package.

Got the router today, getting between 40Mbps and 80Mbps depending on where in the house I put the router.

Only got 3 or 4 out of 5 bars signal strength here, the tower is about 5km away.

I have no doubt that I'd be getting the full 100Mbps if the signal was better.

Going to build a little BiQuad 11dbi antenna, that should sort it out.
