I've been using my MTN sim card in my Vodafone R206 mobile wifi device for almost a year now and 2 months ago I had an antenna installed at my house to boost the signal which allowed me to get full signal on 3G and HSDPA. This setup worked perfectly until 2 weeks ago when my wifi device status showed disconnected and i could not connect to the internet. i browsed the My Broadband forums and kind of resolved the issue by changing the APN settings using "internet" and the number *99#. The device then started working and became connected to the internet but the next day i found that sometimes it does not respond after investigation i saw that it only worked when the network was on MTN HSDPA/MTN 3G+ but whenever it went to MTN3G it would not send or receive any data information.
Is there anything else i could try that might help to get my internet connection more stable?
PS. My device is always set on 3G only because EDGE is hopeless when i'm at home and also gives the same problems.
