Go to My services at the top menu, click on manage subscribers. If the option is not there go to my services-activate a serviceWhere on the mycontract.mtn.co.za can I manage and add datashare numbers, I can't find it anywhere but I'm pretty sure I have before?
Ok worked it out - open the MyMTN app - on the left menu - MTN Services - scroll to the bottom DATASHARE - click on that and add and remove numbers
My pleasure, I also went along many of those routes before I worked that one out, typical idiots at MTN/big business, they don't know how their own systems even work.THANK YOU so much for this info. After so long trying to activate it using the MTN app (not MyMTN app) mycontract on the MTN website and the call centre, I finally found your post. It works perfectly, thanks again
Nevermind, I see it's on the https://www.mtn.co.za/MYMTN/ website now and not mycontract.mtn.co.zaI had DataShare active and I'm trying to deregister a SIM from it. The only options under MTN services in the MyMTN app are to Manage out of bundle usage and manage messages from MTN.
I also tried the website but it doesn't show anything about DataShare under my services.
Anyone know how to manage the DataShare numbers now?
It was always in the app wasn't it?DataShare is now available on the MTN app, under the more menu item.
It was always in the app wasn't it?
Just be careful not all the data may be shared, for instance on my contract I get free night data, the datashare Sims can't access that.Hey all
Does Data Share allow you to transfer a specific amount of data to a linked user? Or does each user just deplete data from a shared pool?
thx
Not all contracts allow datashare, if not then you are out of luckHowzit guys ,
What data are you able to data share ? I was just looking at the mtn brochure and none of their data deals can you data share ???
Regards
