After applying for a new contract with MTN online and receiving the handset I was never sent a SIM card, my number was never ported as requested and access to a contract never received. However I am still getting charged every month. After going to 3 different MTN stores whereby I was told by every single one of them “We can’t help you”. I have called the call Centre 3 times and spoken to no less than 8 people who have all shrugged their shoulders and palmed me off to other people. 2 months down the line and I am nowhere nearer to a solution! Surely a simple fix, yet all I have encountered are people clearly unwilling to make the effort to resolve the situation. A level of service I thought did not exist.

I am being charged for a service/product I don’t have and nobody willing to assist.

Please help!

they normally send the sim card with the phone, also as for the porting - what is the phone number on the bill you are receiving?

Yep, never received the sim when the phone was delivered.

It was a new number on the invoice so they never ported my number as requested. Apparently now they can’t do it either after the fact.
