MTN Friday 13th Special

Can one apply on the MTN wesbite, this call center hold music is killing me slowly.

Oh and don't even bother with the website,because if they don't call you back and capture today they won't give you the deal.It happened to me on black friday,fortunately I then did it the right way for cyber monday.

I think i eventually waited about 40 mins before i go through. Then about another 15 mins to order the phone - so almost an hour to get it done. On the plus side, you dont need to print out your bank statements and payslip to take to an MTN store.

I went into my local MTN store In Richards Bay. The wait was 2.5 hours before I could see a consultant. He said they can only allocate from stock that they have in store and not order. He said that there was very little stock left, I asked for a Samsung S7 Edge, but had no stock, so I ended up getting a cheap Huawei Lite for R 265.00 per month on the special with 52 Gb per month and 10 000 minutes MTN to MTN. I will sell the phone for cash right away, and use the SIM card in one of my other phones.

A good deal - I hope there is nothing in the T&C that can catch me - they made me sign about 8 or 10 pages of T&C.

Need to check which would be compatible with my wifi router. The mtn usb is around R750.

Then just a mifi modem should be around R1000

Yes pages and pages had to initial.
Hoping theres no catches.

Got two J1 phones but no stock today. Shelley beach.

You might be better off with a B315 from Telkom for R1300 comes with a battery and works on ALL South african networks and all network's LTE too.

Then I am out of luck.
Sent through the website, but haven't received a call yet.
Same with a friend of mine.
 
Tried to apply yesterday in store but they couldn't do it. Emailed me a screenshot and logged a case. They say I will still get the promo but I'm doubtful...

Did you receive any sms mentioning about conditional approval? If so, then you are all good.

Any good deals out there for this router?

Hows the signal strength as in the house getting around 15mbps and outside 40mbps on my phone.

Does it take a external to mount outside?
