Ok, that makes sense because the contract was obviously signed on the 13 in my case :) . So it's only this first one that's going to take up to seven days to load?

Just wanted to find out where does it state that they have to confirm the application over the phone? I spoke to a lady on Friday for the Friyay promo, got a ref no from her and told her i'm sending through all the forms which is how we've always done it. This morning she calls me to say that the application was not accepted due the the influx of call they had so not email applications have been accepted.

When I went into my MTN shop on friday morning and applied for this, they said to me they can only sell as many of these deals as per the stock they had assigned to this deal. It took me 2.5 hours of waiting in the queue before I could sign up. When asked what phone I wanted, they told me most of the stock allocated, has already been sold. I was told there were only 3 or 4 different models available on the deal that were still available. Seeing as I only wanted the contract and not the phone, I told them to give me whatever was available that was cheapest. They have assigned me a black Huawei Mate 8 Lite which will cost R 265.00 per month if I remember right.

Perhaps your MTN store had already sold out of phones when you applied, as they insisted that you cannot sign up and have a phone ordered for you - you could only get a phone that was in stock and allocated to this deal....and you had to get a handset whether you wanted one or not.

I had called minutes before emailing the application through and even gave the reference number for the call of the lady I'd spoken to there who confirmed the phone was in stock. She told me this morning that they cannot accept my application because it was emailed and their was an influx of calls therefore no email applications were seen to and that he application was not confirmed.

I received my device and sim card today .After activation and balance check no 50gigs or 10000 mtn to mtn minutes to be found.I applied for the My MTNchoice +s (Hauwei p9lite) contract telephonically on Friday the 13th.Operator told me that i qualify for the free 50 gigs an 10000 mtn to mtn minutes.This was the only reason i took out the contract only to see that i didn't receive it.

Can you post the model number of the p9 lite that you got from mtn?
 
From all the comments in this and other threads it seems as though mtn processes are quite manual.

I applied on Friday (13th) after 7pm. My conditional approval was received on monday mid day and I activated around 8pm. Immediately I received the 30gb promo and the pro rata minutes and data.

The 50gb and 10000 pro rata was active this morning when I checked.

Its the Huawei vns-l31.I just received my pro rata 30 gigs so now im happy.
