I'm not using it, but always best to get hold of a prepaid SIM, in your case for MTN, load some data and do a few speed-tests - at different times of the day / night, to judge if where you'll be using it is fast enough for your needs + the latency ("ping") acceptable - I'd say 25 - 35 ms (milli-seconds) is more than acceptable for cellular data.Greetings everyone, I am wondering if there's anyone who is the MTN Home internet plans, if so, how is the experience so far?
Good to know - thanks ; I see it's under (the heading) :It's on *123# the 100GB night data for R99
Received:1) 100GB Night Surfer Promo @R99 (31 Days)
I have the Huawei B618s-22d they say it's supported there.I have a Huawei B315 router it worked in may on a different sim card but now the same sim card can't change to mtn home prepaid lte because they say it works only on new sim card but it is a new sim card and it worked before on mtn home prepaid lte
The MTN speeds here are good, even Afrihost and Axxess are performing well over hereI'm not using it, but always best to get hold of a prepaid SIM, in your case for MTN, load some data and do a few speed-tests - at different times of the day / night, to judge if where you'll be using it is fast enough for your needs + the latency ("ping") acceptable - I'd say 25 - 35 ms (milli-seconds) is more than acceptable for cellular data.
Also, see if MTN load the prepaid 30 day-100GB for R229 via the app or *136#.
I still have it on mine (under "Made4U Specials"), but they seem to add it & take it away from SIM's, periodically.
I pick it up on *142# USSD code as well.
The speeds are good over here, even during loadshedding, it is Telkom that has those problems over here.Make sure you also test during loadsheding, in my area MTN is dead during loadsheding.
That 100 GB doesn't last me enough, I've switched to the Supadata package they have a 200GB for R 349.I'm not using it, but always best to get hold of a prepaid SIM, in your case for MTN, load some data and do a few speed-tests - at different times of the day / night, to judge if where you'll be using it is fast enough for your needs + the latency ("ping") acceptable - I'd say 25 - 35 ms (milli-seconds) is more than acceptable for cellular data.

I was robbed by mtn because i changed internet price plan.I bought a mtn home prepaid lte uncapped data bundle for R399 100GB fup but because my internet on the sim card didn't work after i bought small data bundles i changed data price plan and then the small data bundles work.because i changed i forfeited my R399 data bundle and i called them and they don't want to give my data ba
