The operators really need to start looking at refarming all their spectrum to roll out LTE on a wide scale. I wonder if this is even possible, but waiting for ICASA to release spectrum is going to take forever, and LTE will probably end up where WIMAX is now. Dead in the water.

What about Short Term Sorting out of the back end?!

I dont understand the focus on higher wireless speeds when clearly, the existing tech is not the bottelneck. For instance im getting 1Mbps download on a 7.2Mbps capable modem with 8Ta, and a recent survey placed us pretty low in the ranking for providing the actual bandwidth we were being sold.
