MTN LTE problems...

So I got a new iPad air from incredible connection. I had an iPad 2 before so I went to mtn to get a sim swap for a nano sim. On the SIM card it DOES say LTE... But when I turn on LTE it stays on 3G. Any suggestions?
 
I've tried that, but whenever I do it asks for a pin and mtn never gave me a pin. I tried both the defaults and it said they are invalid and I really don't feel like another trip to the mtn store

iPad 2 has a micro sim and air has a nano. iPad 2 does not support LTE either.

you need to call 808, & ask them to provision the sim card...
 
As I said earlier, it wouldn't accept the pin. When I let them put me through to an assistant no one answered

strange.

with my mobile phone, I called MTN, asked them to provision.... and then it was active, nothing about pins.

unless ofcourse the pin is an apple issue.
 
It's on an iPad though. I will try in the morning to get though to a consultant though.
