MTN LTE VAS Service (APN settings)

Howzit,

Has anyone got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE with MTN? I've enabled the LTE on my Lumia 920 but I'm not being given access to the LTE network because I don't have, what MTN calls the, "LTE VAS Service". Is it a specific set of APN Settings for LTE?

MTN needs to activate LTE on the number, just call the helpdesk to do it. Also, your SIM needs to have LTE or 3G written on it to get LTE.

thanks i have called them but i need to check if my sim is lte ..not sure tho

You just use the apn mymtn. You need to have a 128k simcard [usually they have 3G or LTE on the simcard] and have the LTE VAS Service activated on your line.
