MTN network problems: an apology

wonder if VC having similar issues in Brits area last few days.

Is that the reason why Afrihost "MOBILE" has been a pain as well. I know adsl had its own issues but i want to believe that's seperate from mobile
 
I haven't had any 3G/HSDPA connectivety for last week on MTN.
None of my modems would work even though my phones would pickup 3G.
Changed to Telkom, 2+1 - works wonderfully on LTE
 
wonder why vodacom hasnt' had the same problems....oh wait, did they actually have foresight and planned for things like this?

I wonder when the MD and the BOARD will get some form of backbone. If you negligent compensate. I AM SOWWWYYYYY is PATHETIC.

You will most probably have to find yourself a good lawyer.

MTN has the old defence force mentality - first do what we ask, then put in a complaint afterwards.

My work mobile phone hasn't had a data connection for over a week irrespective of area. Calls to 808 option 6 get dropped. Tweets to the @MTNzaService takes about 2 days per reply and doesn't actually do anything. Emails to their support contacts go unanswered. My contract was part of the Nashua Mobile migration so MTN really needs to re-asses their statement.

I did manage to speak to a human being in the billing department last week after throwing all my toys, however they forwarded it onto a "advanced tech support" to investigate and there has been nothing from anyone since - no reference or contact details either.

I'm so happy I ported from MTN to Vodacom a few years back - best move ever!
 
Also been having bad connectivity which is actually quite frustrating. Their only issue now is, if it is indeed due to network upgrades then there will be expectations had.

I've rarely had any issues, so I have given them a break for now and deal.
