MTN Order notifications

Just wondering if anyone else is getting random order notifications from the MTN Acc. Text line this morning?

I've had it before and they confirmed to me it was just part of the billing process for my contract, which was odd
since I've never had it before, but nothing else happened afterwards, until now.

Now I've had 5 - 6 sms's come through in the last hour or so, all quoting the same order number. I have
reached out to their Fraud email acc, but still waiting for an answer.

The other LOL would be the amount of hoops you have to jump through and wait through to try and chat to a human being. It's like, thanks for your money now die in line.

Happened to me about a month ago.
I was concerned that someone was opening new accounts in my name, as I was the victim of ID theft last year and a whole bunch of accounts were opened in my name.
I contacted MTN and they said it was the notifications for my contract upgrades done in November last year, apparently a system glitch/delay. Moerse delay if you ask me.

Thanks for the reply, thing is I haven't upgrade / touched my contract since the handset was paid off, meaning even before the first one I got, so that'd be oh... 2 - 3 years ago. On the first one they told me sort of similar schitt but I'm suspecting something akin to a system fault - since I got several copies of the same message.

I mailed them, tried via twitter, guess I'll call them today. Just not sure what number to dial, the one they are giving goes to some kind of automated answering service that does not take all the inputs I give, like * to relisten to the menu simply doesn't work.
