MTN Popups are back?

These sim notifications or messages are very annoying and concerning , feels like one slip of the finger will subscribe you to a world of hassles and unwanted cap.

They are like an STD in the MTN world.

From my experience the newer the sim the more the spam. Maybe a solution is to try find a very old unused simcard and then do a SIM swop.

Also uninstall any updates on the simtoolkit app and delete all its data.

Can confirm it seems to be the newer sims

I ported to CellC for a few months but ported back to MTN and got a new sim, never had these messages before that (original sim was years old)

I wonder if Esim has the applications?

I don't think esim will have any because it's a virtual SIM but you never know, there is probably a network app bundled with the esim service.
 
Same, didn't even know a class 0/flash messages existed. Apparently intended to be used for emergencies as one cannot stop it (quick google), but then it is MTN after all...
 
I think mine is having some problems...
