This was actually launched in the last quarter last year.
Great service, I like it. No need to lose your voice messages now cause they all come to you via mms (my option). Great

As a vodacom customer and the ability to move to another network (contract expired), this is a great added service which I would make good use of. thumbs up to MTN.

The send to email function is still not working !! I subscribed last year & it has never worked.
Besides that it is great to collec t you messages when out of sa.

The nice advantage is that you'll be able to save your voice mails as sound files and keep them.

As for them having officially launched now verses the soft launch last year, I guess some things in MTN never change! They've always had all the good stuff long before their competition but have just never advertised it until their competition has. This always makes them look like they're playing catchup but believe me their far more advanced than their competition will ever be!!!

Mine actually started working a few weeks ago. I received my first emailed message on 19/2/2007

This is very close to the "Visual Voicemail" that Apple and Verizon are preparing for the iPhone debut in July.

Been using this service for 2 months. However since MTN started advertising it, it has stopped sending messages on as emails. If login to the MTN site I can see the voicemails in my message box, but they're not coming through to my email. Changed the email settings to forward to another account and no difference so it is not the mail server. Switched mail forwarding on and then off, but with no difference.

Anyone else having the same problem or have a suggestion for a solution?
