Nice, Cell C shouldn't be above Vodacom though. And Neotel don't have anything to service. :D

Vodacom received the unflattering title of the ‘Top Regressor’ in the telecoms space. “Vodacom’s performance was poorer on all service drivers, compared to the 2006 measurement,” the report states.
Priceless:D

Just illustrates the sorry state of telecoms "service" levels in S.A. The only reasonable conclusion based on those scores is that one company is slightly less mediocre than the other 3 with a 50+ score, while Telkom's service levels are diabolically bad.

LOL MTN are almost as bad as Telkom from my experience. Followed by Cell C. Virgin Mobile surprisingly was actually the best for me followed by Vodacom.

MTN's biggest problem in CS is MTNSP, they really suck! There is an unfortunate perception in the market that MTNSP is MTN and this is where the problem lies; a problem that has plagued MTN for far too long. They really need to sort this out.

I have to say, on a technology front, no one comes close to MTN. Their staff, especially in the Network Group, are some of the brightest and most ingenious engineers I have ever worked with. It's truly a pity that their marketing has always lagged so badly. For this reason they are (or should I say were, cos it seems to be getting better) always perceived as playing catchup to VDC even though the technology was put into production months before VDC's public launches.

Help! Any Of You Smart Guys Please

I use an e220 Huwai modem supplied by MTN. I am not sure that I have all the thingamajigs tuned in correctly. Is there anybody who can tell me how to configure my system to work smoothly. If I use a video stream reader like
replay AV8 (or cam studio), I get an error message "No network connection active". This is only one of the problems. When I use ie7 or outlook express they bring up the dial up dialog box and wont do a darn thing before I've clicked "connect". The MTN Fastlink system is like a broadband connection that is always online. My download times are also very slow, I have connection speeds of 2836kbps and can't view a video online. I was hoping that by using 3G I would also be able to connect at a civilized speed with the outside world.

I am lately using Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird instead of ie7 and OL express. I have much less trouble than with ie7.

My operating system is xp pro (2003)

Any thoughts
