MTN's new uncapped broadband pricing compared

Long term contracts unacceptable

Not sure about this 8ta thing they tie you down with 24 months telkom was doing exactly the same thing. 6 months from now when the service is degraded it will be very difficult to get out of it. Trust me stick to month to month or shorter term contracts like cell c's 12 month or pre paid option. I would rather pay a little bit more for freedom of choice 24 months is not a choice its a prison sentence. 8ta give us a prepaid option or shorter term contract to show us that you really are competing.

You mean 16KB/s (kilo bytes per second). No sorry, I wouldn't tolerate that, and certainly won't leave my computer on for those snail's pace speeds. IMHO I think there's nothing to compare other than exposing MTN's uncapped lies.

agreed!!!!

Do they advertise the fact that it is throttled after 3GB of usage to non broadband speeds? If they don't then someone who uses this service should file a complaint with the ASA. Can't let these suckers get away with their misleading BS!

Is it just me, or have I somewhere lost the definition of the word "Uncapped" .... ?

They are blatantly lying with their false advertising. This is NOT uncapped! This is false advertising, and is illegal.

I dare anyone to say otherwise!

true. I hope people dont fall for this contract

"We used the theoretical download maximum of 16 bytes per second over a 30 day period to calculate MTN’s lowest possible per-MB pricing."

ROFL. I assume the 16 bytes per second is prophetic with regards to the actual download speed that will be obtained once "capped"

CAN U PEOPLE COMPLAIN MORE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

So its R299 for 3GB + 40GB after hours. Im on my way to sign up geeeezzzzzzzz its good deal
