walking past the mugging scene to get to safety and then making a call is hardly ignoring a crime is it? And how do you know this didnt happen?

You want me to take on an armed mugger with my bare hands when(sorry to put it so bluntly) your SO didnt have the guts to try that himself? Interesting

You get one life. ONE. You think I'm about to put that in danger to help you keep your cellphone? Call me selfish if you wish. If the mugger was handing your SO a beatdown I'd be there in a flash, but a gun just changes the whole thing completely

Yeah, the guy obviously went straight to the security guards who were about 50m away.

I'll point out - again - he didn't have to do anything more than call for help - he obviously didn't even so much as call the security guards. So.. er... excuse me?

And I'll point out - again - that your SO was having such a nice chat with the mugger, people could have read it differently. Or never even have noticed. Never been so deep in thought you dont quite 'see' everything around you?

I dont mean to take you on, just point out that

a) maybe people didnt 'click' what was going on

b) its not a good idea to take on a tik-fiend with a gun bare-handed

You're not the only person on this thread who have taken on people for "not doing something". I'm just pointing out that its just not that simple
