Multichoice plays hardball

I agree, but i dont think these new guys coming in are going to make much of a differents. Ive got enough movies & tv series to keep my busy for years.

To me honest what does the most of use watch on DSTV. for the R550 that we pay

1. Mnet, MM1 & MM2
2. Series
3. M-TV
4. MK89
5. Discovery, National, Crime & History and Travel
6. Supersport.

Now if i only watch those channel do i really need to be paying R550

I certainly don't watch 1, 3 or 4 :p

So for me there is even less :o

Competition Complaints Commission

The petition site is very cool. http://petition.sa-mce.com/Default.aspx.

There is a link to a complaints form to the Competition Complaints Commission: http://www.compcom.co.za/Resources/Forms/HTML&Word FORMS/html/cc1.htm. (ok it is a pretty lame form)

Lets use it! I've sent my complaint in.

Maybe this link should be made more widely known (well I hadn't come accross it after a year and a half on this site!) and we can hammer away with our Telkom issues (which are very real issues btw)

Such a petition site would be very usefull for our cause too (in terms of Telkom's non-compliance with SAT3 exclusivity and local bandwith capping)

In other words, let's concentrate our (Telkom) vents into one petition and then start accumulating numbers. And each and every one of use who feel badly done by (99.99%!) should lodge a complaint at the CCC.

If such a petition does exists then I've missed it along the line!

looking at it right now.....

don't get whats being done here though

as far as i understand, you can become a provider of your version of the guide. So when someone uses the service, or adds it to say media centre, they get a list of guide choices to download, i know currently or last i checked there were 2 choices, full guide, or only the free channels.
