MultiChoice says DStv password crackdown is working

I'm curious to know how they determined this. Is there a questionnaire you answer when you sign up as to why you signed up, or are DSTv just painting new signups with a brush that most suits their narrative?
Absolutely painting to suit themselves. These Clowns, under the direction of the chief CEO clown,manipulate the numbers to suit their ridiculous decisions and feel vindicated when the “numbers”spin doctor presents the figures. Save your money and move on. There are loads of alternatives that will cost you far less. I’m very happy they forced my hand to look around. Between MBB and Forum subscribers, they opened up a huge amount of information and alternatives. Thank you.

I hope they lose subscribers. Sure, it means more articles of tears crying: Netflix is so bad for our (non-existant, but present!) streaming service, but you get what you give.
 
Typical of South African companies to continue talking up their businesses despite facts and figures showing the opposite (Refer to recent MBB article with DSTV subscribers). There have been numerous posts here also comparing their service to what is offered abroad - and here we are being "pioneers" in the wrong direction.
Carte blanche had a segment on a medical aid company that basically did the same thing until they were so broke that they had to dissolve and gave clients EIGHT days to change medical aid.
Problems can't be addressed unless they are acknowledged. DSTV's arrogance will (continue to) be their downfall.
