DStv's channel shake-up in 2022

South Africa's biggest pay-TV provider — DStv — made several changes to its channel packages in 2022, dropping four channels and adding seven.

The MultiChoice-owned satellite TV provider also dropped four eMedia channels in July but was forced to reinstate them a month later.

I still won't be renewing my cancelled subscription.

Channels are useless for anything but live content.

They can save so much sat bandwidth if they just converted to a on demand over the internet model. The money would be far better spent to the cell companies to zero rate DStv on their network.

Are you on the premium package? You won’t have it then.

BBC UKTV is available on DStv channel 134 in South Africa on Family, Access & Easyview and the rest of Southern Africa on Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family, Access, Lite (Zim)

Well, that's wrong (2nd paragraph) because I can confirm it's on Access.
