I really don't understand this. Personally I love Showmax and it is my favourite streaming service and offers the best value for money. Why would anyone want to rot their brains on the idiotic Netflix?

Maybe it is because Netflix, Disney, Apple and Prime has proper 5.1 surround sound. Showmax still tries to keep its clients happy with old fashioned stereo sound.
Once you are used to proper sound tracks, steaming Showmax becomes painful.

Good thing I only have a stereo HiFi system then which in my opinion blows most home theatre systems away. Most home theatre systems are pretty useless for music.
