Strange. Thats the band "metal" kids in school listen to these days :(. I LOVED their old albums, and the old LoG. But they've turned into a bunch of whimps tbh.

In fact, just get the 'New American Gospel' and 'As The Palaces Burn' albums, those were awesome ;(
Also, Killadelphia (live album). This band is scaringly good live.

Who cares what type of people listen to what type of music? I take any individual song, free of any external pressure, if this makes sense - We tend to view music as so connected to all sorts of cultural stereotypes and none of that **** should matter at all.

A song is a song and it must stand alone.

Or something. :o :p
 
@pr0d : Yeah the old albums are tons better than Sacrament and Wrath. The best one for me is Ashes of the wake.

I just tried to say, if you only discover LoG now, you should REALLY listen to the old stuff, as it's pure awesome.

I know, none whatsoever taken. :p

In fact, what you suggested was pretty much what I was thinking, I tend to start with new albums and then work backwards with new bands, always interesting to hear how they evolve in reverse.

You'll be in for an awesome time when you get to Ashes of the wake, New American Gospel and As The Palaces Burn :P . I hope at least, chances are if you like the songs from Wrath you'll go bonkers on those albums.
