Which kind are you looking for?
Just a clip on one? Or a stand along kind of job?
I don't really have any clue of which is best.
If just for around the house, then I'd suggest a freeware download that you can tune by ear from your PC speakers.

Otherwsie have a look at the link for some ideas: OrangeMusic

Other than that, my friend uses a Boss Pedal Guitar Tuner, which comes in very handing while playing gigs as he jumps between tuning settings quite a bit.
Not sure what they go for locally.

I have one of these, it works fine on my bass and acoustic but not on my electric - I don't think it's picking up enough vibration from it or something, though it might just need a new battery.

Not entirely happy with it, I just use Reatune that's built into Reaper before recording, I find it the most accurate way to tune up, personally. Otherwise I just use my ears and a test tone or something.

Haven't posted here in a while but I thought I'd come around and share my recent musical endeavor.

Take a listen, I'd love to hear what you think. We're doing a sorta blues rock thing, but our influences are very broad so it's not exclusively that.

I've lost most of my music due to a drive crash, but I was going through my dropbox folder to see if I had any 'electronic' music lying around.
