MVNO's

Hi guys. Interesting discussion but has anyone had experience outside the mainstream mobile ISPs and have switched over to MVNOs? There are about 11 of them in SA and have some serious packages that would save me +/- R1700 per month.

I'm ready to switch over but I'm looking for experience and post sales with these vendors.

Don't they all piggy back on Cell C?

Some piggy back off Cell C others both Cell C and Vodacom as roaming. Others directly off MTN. Agreed on the poor signal but like the one that chooses Cell C on primary and Vodacom as roaming then to me you get best of both worlds. surely?

Depends where you are. Many areas have poor service for one of the 2 networks. In my area VC is bad, MTN is good. Just look at where you will be using the device the most and see which of the 2 gives the best service.
