Bright and early in the morning of Monday, February 26 Sony will unveil new devices. That’s the third day of the MWC. Of course, the press invite just promises technological innovation without telling us exactly what we’ll see.

China's Xiaomi to attend MWC 2018, is a Mi 7 flagship announcement likely?

Xiaomi is now listed as an MWC 2018 attendee and will be situated at Stand 6B30 in Hall 6, though we are not aware if the company's planning to host a keynote yet - the MWC 2018 agenda is not complete yet and we doubt the so-called Apple of China will miss the opportunity.

Great news for ZenFone fans, as Asus has just confirmed its ZenFone 5 series will be officially introduced on February 27. The launch event will take place at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona where we can expect the smartphones to be showcased throughout the entire exhibition.

Modular Land Rover Explore to debut at MWC

Land Rover builds cars for those who enjoy the outdoors in comfort and luxury. The car company is lending its name to a smartphone that will be called the Land Rover Explore. It’s a ruggedized smartphone built by Bullitt Group, the same company that makes Ruggedized CAT phones like the S60 . The company announced the phone at ISPO – an outdoor and sports trade show in Munich.

Confirmed: LG to bring upgraded V30 to MWC 2018

CY Kim, managing director for LG Electronics South Africa, told reporters that we can expect an upgraded version of the V30 to debut instead.
“We will introduce at MWC for V30… upgraded version (sic),” Kim told press at LG’s Innofest event in Cape Town.

Huawei to hold an MWC 2018 event after all

Last month we learned that Huawei will not unveil its P11 flagship (or P20, the name is not yet confirmed) at MWC 2018. Today the company announced on its Weibo page that it will still hold an event in Barcelona and announce new products.

Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 1X to be unveiled on February 24th

One day before the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be unveiled, and two days before the start of MWC, Alcatel will introduce three new handsets. These include the Alcatel 5 budget flagship model, the Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 1X.
