MWEB 20Mbps, 40Mbps uncapped VDSL prices announced

way to price the products right out of the market .... seems like they do not even want customers on this product
 
Absurd. They expect people to do terabytes of data, when in actual fact this is unlikely. Rather just soft cap it at 250 or 500GB and lower the prices - much better.
 
i think in the current market that those are very realistic prices. Sadly we will never get anywhere near the overseas prices as long as Telkom IPC connect prices stay as high as they are.
 
when I read this I became VERY upset.. Then I realized I live in south Africa... And become even more upset!


I wonder what the line rental will be like?

Well to be fair, MWEB has recently exposed itself as the most expensive uncapped provider if you're not prepared to go for a crippled product.
 
Any Capped VSDL Products from MWEB Business ? I don't need Uncapped, but I need quality down/upload speeds and about 20Gb of data.
 
Crazy prices, but not a surprise. Give it a couple of years before it becomes affordable. It's only available in 3 areas anyway, so expect the current DSL users to "pay" for the rollout of VSDL in other areas

Totally agree with this. I'd prefer a large high cap product. 300GB would be ideal for me.
 
Bloody hell that is expensive. Knew it was going to be expensive but this is way worse than I was expecting.
