It's looks like you own MWEB.He just asked about any ISP allowing heavy downloads without canceling the a count like MWEB is doing with heavy downloaders.There is Nothing more nothing less .Its up to each customer and ISP they can sort any such problems

He's paying around R500 for his internet and using 500gb a month. This is a third-world country with a really rubbish telecommunications provider at the head of all our internet needs. That kind of usage is not sustainable. That's why there is a FUP. If you can't see why basically paying R1/gb on a Home uncapped account is not deemed acceptable for a Home Uncapped account in the current ADSL system, then I don't really know what else to tell you.

Mweb cannot simply bite the bullet, because people like OP are the ones degrading the service for everyone else. If the OP is not happy with what he can get for R500, then he should either upgrade to 10mb/s or switch to a business uncapped or any other product that it is not subject to an FUP.

I am on 10megs and paying R1000. 500 gigs excessive?maybe, but i am not complaining all i am asking if there is an isp that wont complain if i use 500 gigs a month. As for me causing other users to suffer when i download i really don't see how i am to blame for using maximum of what mweb gives. Mweb has a FUP so if i am using to much then slow me down, but because they don't is probably the reason why many users prefer them, included myself.

Another thing is that its not how much you use but about how consistently the download run, 13 gigs HD might be out of the question as it takes a while...for a third world country at least

Perhaps i should buy 2X4 meg uncapped accounts and do 250 gigs each.Would that be more acceptable to you all?

for heavy downloads the lantic afterhours uncapped is quite good @ R60 a month , i do about 500gb a month, but i run out of stuff to download
