Of course the question he constantly seems to ask - which I simply don't answer as it has been commented on this forum at least once and the query tends to be off topic - is no reading towards my degree is standing in an extend abeyance, the reasons being financial and family rather than anything else. In fact part of the current pile of stuff to sort out should resolve the particulars of the problem as well - it also gives me some leisurely opportunity to wrap up a bit of scholarship I started last year ago whilst visiting the RU law library. If he is interested in my academic career of course the annual research report is probably a good place to look - the 2011 report is out and obviously we are waiting for 2013. So yes I am a mere undergraduate who is published in peer reviewed journals in two different disciplines and has some proficiency in motion proceedings before the superior courts (moving urgent matters through to an order absolute is a learning curve) and who spends more free time on scholarship (and the classicists and etymologists on this forum should appreciate the word play) than the vast majority of academic staff in South African universities who are not employed primarily as researchers.
However this entire strand is off topic and represents a wonderful example of an ad hominem which I've decided to give some response to as a matter of personal privilege.
To give some on topic contribution: One of the reasons I am not just flaring this off to the CCC at ICASA is because I want to cover various grounds on both the existing end user service charter and proposals to the new charter. There are furthermore complications which arise with the ADSL Regulations and their status which have bearing on this. Ultimately I need to apply a section of my mind to various interrelated things and advance a succinct legal argument which is taxing (being unskilled and unqualified as rwenzori seeks to establish) and the faculties to do so (as opposed to other faculties of reason which I am deploying on other things) are presently employed in dealing with a matter that is far more pressing and actually involves my livelihood and when same was not the case the broader LLU issue applied.
Societies progress when people of their own volition do good things and commit their resources and talents to improving things. I believe MyBB as a society largely lives to that requirement. What I cannot understand is a snarky disdain that rwenzori seems to capture, legitimate criticisms (in particular corrections of spelling) are something I welcome but honestly nobody is prejudiced by any time frame issues I may run into as nobody is precluded from acting on their own volition.
