MWEB explains their uncapped ADSL abuse policy

I left when MWEB promised to improve their network by keeping the Telkom discount for themselves. My current ISP doesn't care how much I download provided I follow the rules.

Thx big-M for proving me right not to trust your word!

The neighbour got a warning because of his abusive behaviour when he reached 52gigs on a 4 mb Mweb line.
That means that I would be in trouble every month!

Odd, because I average 60gig/m on a 2mb line and no letters yet but get shaped during the day (steaming is pretty good tho').

So I am on MWEB, and did not have problems up until yesterday.

There might be a chance that it is my line because I had problems with Telkom lately as well, but it did sync at 6M/bits and youtube was buffering the whole time on their 4M/bit option.

So I will give them another week or so, but what other options will you guys recommend?

My line is also managed by MWEB, how easily would it be to transfer, will the ISP of my choice help me with the transfer?

I was about to cancel mine myself and go to Openweb Gold uncapped. Unfortunately it seems their prices have increased A LOT in the last month... So still stuck with MWEB.

To transfer, you'll need Mweb to "release" your line to Telkom first, meaning give the rights over the line back to you, and you'll be billed for it by Telkom along with your phone bill.

Mweb is trying hard to justify / defend their actions. This is a clear indicator that what they have done is having a negative effect on their business. They have slapped their customers in the face with this and now they're trying to play nice. No Thanks!

The more you have to shout out how fair you are, the more you know in your hear you are lying. Prior to their so called win Throttling was only mentioned in thneAUP. They have now been forced to put it into the Product Specifications - Sure Mweb you won that round Lol...
The simple fact is nobody is happy, you are losing customers, aparently only 5 of them according to your facebook site.

Great Mweb, you were able to win on a technicality which I believe is full of BS, even better is that you can now come out and literally BS at our faces, what does "no restrictions" mean? do I need to get a court to flip an oxford dictionary?

Don't we all have serious influence when we suggest services to people? and our clients / business? I for one am going to send all my clients who's still on mweb away, mweb, get ready to be very surprised and it really wont be all that hard since you're also not cheap anymore, even telkom is cheaper then you!!
