So I'll be helping someone with a new setup of a router supplied by MWEB. They signed up for a MWEB FTTH package in one of apartment blocks in Cape Town. Building management installed a Cat5e cable from the basement into the apartment. After signing up with MWEB, they shipped a router. However, I'm a little confused that the router they shipped out is a Zyxel Wireless N ADSL router.
Is the point from the wall supposed to plug into one of the ethernet ports on the back of the router?
If this is the case, where does the MWEB details get entered??
