MWEB Gaming Feedback

News speed still bad again today. Only getting decent speeds during the night from 1am to 6am. ALWAYS used to get full speeds any time during the day. Its not just on mweb's news, any other server connecting with mweb is slow. NTTP :(

Hope this is just because of the other issues mweb is having. Any updates on this issue yet?

Ran pingtest

bit slower than normal but not bad - unable to go ingame after logging in to WoW though
 
For about a week or so ive had very slow speeds on games. yes im aware it was seacom but apparently its fixed ? well , the technicians say its "no longer on the board" yet the problem persists.



The ping in this test would be playable. BUT its before shaping , throttling and anything of the kind. which will boost it to around 500 - 600.

so whats wrong ? , others are also having the problem.

it also is not my line as ive bought data on the sat3 cable and its fine. thus ruling me out. want sat3 :(

Has this been fixed as I have games behaving like torrents, they connect then die, actually watch the bandwidth on netlimter and it is definately throttling. Initial connection (handshake) is at normal speed then the throtttling kicks in.

Decided to leave gaming for the night and opened a torrent and guess what?
Seriuosly my torrents are going full steam and my games are being shaped WTF :whistle:
Something in good old london has gone pear shaped :D

I can't log into black ops. tried rebooting my pc, and router
 
Just found out that because i have not been online much in the past two days and missed two raids with my new guild on WoW they kicked me out because they dont want raiders with unstable net.
Nice start having an mweb account for less than a week and this happens.

Think you need to re-read your post and rephrase. You missed two raids and didn't bother to notify anyone? Can't blame seacom or mweb for that. ;)

ps. Sucky guild you joined there...
 
They were my first two raids and then i did tell them the reason was because i was having net problems.

The GM said that if this is how its going to be raiding with me i need to find another guild.
 
I think there is a reason this thread is 166 pages long. Its cause everything isn't okay or stable for that matter. Still no update or fix for the NTTP shaping or w/e is going on. At least that was stable till a few days ago. Looking forward to months of complaining about that before it gets fixed. In the mean time we gonna get told there isn't a problem or that its "normal".

Almost a year and the first time its like this is not normal. Its a problem.
 
Is anyone who plays Black Ops having a problem connecting since the last international outage?
