yes please can we get routed via sat3. want to play black ops so badly
 
if everything is working correctly. you get reply's fast. when things are nt working properly..... tumble weed....
 
Can't play Bad Company 2, ping to local servers is fine but the ea account sign in keeps dropping :(

Fix it! Need de-stress!

I am in a 25 man raid guild on my pitiful 384k line. They understand that I will sometimes have an unstable connection and it is bound to happen. Fortunately I prove myself in skill and dps so no worries there.
Unluckily for you, some people arent as understanding and I can't say I blame em either. If you are gonna d/c all the time then you are taking up a raid spot and not doing much >.<
But yeah, MWEB fix your cr@p please, it is getting a bit much.
 
for all those having world of warcraft issues that are running wtfast or lowerping or anyhting assosiated. run WITHOUT it. seems 2 improve your latency. least mine and a friends atleast.
 
I'm getting 3000ms plus on my mweb account, my ATUR Attenuation is 50 dB so there is a noise factor but does it justify 3000+ ms ??!?!.

Edit: Sorry talking about World of Warcraft.

280 - 310 latency on wow , not perfect. but seems much better than last night. and now its playable... unlike normal er i mean before
 
Im getting really bad latency spikes in Age of Conan. Latency hovers at around 400 - 600 and spikes to 1.3k and even up to 3k. Why is it so hard for mweb to fix this? If I test with my 1gb afrihost account the latency is around 220 and spikes are nonexistent. I have tried wtfast but for some reason it crashes if you use it with Conan.

The attenuation usually comes with other symptoms too. Can you do some continuous ping tests to local destinations and show us what the results look like to see if there are any indications of jitter and packet loss. Also your router may be able to give you statistics on CRC errors which are a possibility if your line is not 100%

Seems like wow latency is crazy again... waiting 4 min to log in again...

Think I found a problem.... when using my private WTFAST account speed is horrid...
Without its just bad...

So could someone at MWEB maybe try and see why this is happening? - I dont have an mweb issued WTFAST account
 
Sidia I got wtfast to work, however I can confirm that using it makes the problem even worse. With wtfast enabled lantency sits at around 2500-3000 and does not come down at all.
 
Mine works 100% on the Webafrica network - latency 200ms !!! on MWEB ... insane !!

So seems to me like this "deal" mweb has with wtfast is causing problems for existing wtfast account holders
 
I haven't reapplied for a renewal on the WTFast I was given simply because I had more issues with it than without, though the previous month hasn't been too hot on MWEB either (for me at least).
 
Same here... MWEB seems to be taking a nose dive...

Again.. 7000ms without wtfast... cant even get in with wtfast....

(got a screenshot again...)

I guess if people send screenshots to MWEB at this rate they might need new hard drives soon... (or be out of bandwidth transporting it)
